Wildlife & Walks
Sleat has a variety of walks to tempt you out of your car and into your walking boots. You can take a gentle stroll around the gardens at Armadale Castle or follow one of their nature trails, or take a longer walk to Leitir Fura, Point of Sleat or Coille Dalavil. Links for the walks take you to the Walk Highlands website, which is an excellent reference point and gives clear instructions for each walk.
Please bear in mind that there are no ‘facilities’ at these remote and rural locations and take all rubbish home with you so we can keep Sleat and Skye the beautiful place that it is. If you’re bringing your four-legged friend with you, please keep him on a lead around livestock and when walking on or near croft land and abide by the Scottish Outdoor Access Code – thank you!
